Get excited, Hilda fans! Our favourite blue-haired adventurer is BACK on Netflix with an 80-minute animated special, titled Hilda and The Mountain King, out later this year.
Adapted from Luke Pearson’s sixth graphic novel in the series, Hilda and The Mountain King picks up where the shocking cliff-hanger ending of Hilda Season 2 left off. (Warning: Hilda spoilers ahead!) Finding Hilda stranded in troll county with the body of a troll – her quest to change back into her human form and reunite with her mum and friends brings her deeper into the world of trolls – from their customs to their legends, namely the infamous Mountain King.
Co-produced by Silvergate Media and Mercury Films, Hilda and the Mountain King follows many recent accolades for the first two series of the show – including winning two Daytime Emmy awards and three Annie Awards.
