Lucie Bryon is a cartoonist and illustrator living in the cold north of France. After studying comics at ESA St Luc Brussels, she started working for French language children publications and independent comic publishers. Her work has been published both in French and English by Editions Milan, BDkids, Shortbox and Sarbacane. She also publishes short comics online and self-published a compilation of her works.

What inspires your work?
The people I meet, my own experiences, and the world around me. As well as movies, music and comics from all over the world.
Tell us a little bit about your process…
I usually spend some time crafting the story and characters while sketching what could appear as random elements and pieces on paper, then one day everything clicks, and I start storyboarding the whole thing digitally. After that, inking is my favourite part of the process!
