Julia Wauters

Julia Wauters started studying textile printing and screen-printing in France, before shifting to study illustration at l’Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. There she met the members of the collective Troglodyte, as well as Glen Chapron with whom she launched the illustration magazine Ecarquillettes.

Julia numbers L’Occitane among her clients and has contributed a cover to the German comics magazine “Strapazin”. She has illustrated the French children’s books “The Legend of Father Christmas”, “My Little Old Man” and “Small Cat, Big World”.

One Night Far From Here is her first book as an author and illustrator.
